SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (AP) -- A Brigham Young University-Idaho student arrested in Salt Lake City on suspicion of possessing stolen guns and drugs is back on the street.
Courtney Eagleston was released from jail Tuesday night after prosecutors failed to file formal charges against him.
Police say the 19-year-old was arrested last Friday, allegedly with 15 grams of cocaine and weapons believed stolen from a pawn shop in Rexburg, Idaho.
However, deputies say without formal charges, they had to release him from jail. Also, no warrant was filed because their probe was NOT complete.
