HOWELL, Utah (AP) -- A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the area just north of the Great Salt Lake on Sunday.
Officials at the University of Utah Seismograph Stations say the quake hit around 1:27 p.m. about eight miles southwest of Howell and 23 miles west of Tremonton.
No damage was reported.
