(KSL News) -- Residents of a Cottonwood Heights mobile home park need help to move to move their community.
The 20 acres currently occupied by the Meadows Mobile Home Estates was recently purchased by a developer, who wants to build homes on the land.
Moving the mobile homes will cost between 7 and 12 thousand dollars a home -- money many residents do not have. The developer has offered some assistance, but more money is still needed.
Cottonwood Heights officials say they hope other area residents will help with donations.
The residents have a year to vacate the premises.
