(KSL News) Officers arrested a man following a late-night chase.
It started in West Valley City where police were looking for a man with a warrant out for his arrest on domestic violence. They spotted him in a stolen car and followed him to the mouth of Parley's Canyon, where they then tried to pull him over.
Sgt. John Pearce of the West Valley Police Department said, "[We] came halfway up the canyon where a pit maneuver was employed to stop the suspect vehicle. The suspect was not cooperative and had to be forcibly extracted from the car."
The man was arrested and faces several charges, including possessing a stolen vehicle, fleeing police and resisting arrest.
