(KSL News) -- A man was shot this morning near 800 S. 900 West. The man managed to walk to a fire station for help.

The man was shot in the groin and is in serious condition.

He claims someone in a black Honda drove by and fired at him. The man called for help and walked to a fire station.

Police found pistol magazines near the area where the shooting happened.

They say they are looking at all possibilities, including the chance the wound may have been self-inflicted.
