(KSL News) A small fire caused by a faulty fan motor forced about 150 people from the Peery Hotel in downtown Salt Lake today.
Fire officials say they received complaints of smoke coming from the third floor of the hotel. They were able to quickly evacuate the building and put the fire out.
The fire caused minimal damage to the hotel.
