SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Jazz guard/forward Kyle Korver underwent successful surgery Wednesday to remove a bone spur from atop his left foot, Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor announced today.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Jonathan Deland in New York City.
Korver's foot will be re-examined in two weeks and he is expected to be able to start working out in a pool in approximately three weeks.
Acquired by the Jazz from Philadelphia on December 29, 2007, Korver appeared in 50 regular season games with the Jazz (all as a reserve) in 2007-08, averaging 9.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game. He also saw action in all 12 playoff games for the Jazz, averaging 7.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game.
