This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

In the eye care arena, there's a lot to be excited for in 2015. And Dr. Brenden White of InVision Eye Health in Sandy would tell you one of the areas to be look forward to relief is symptoms of Chronic Dry Eye, a condition which affects over 100 million people annually.

Dr. White is one of a few eye care providers statewide with specialized training and technology to address conditions related to dry eye. It's a long-term chronic disease that can take years to develop and may worsen if left untreated. At InVision Eye Health, they offer many treatment options including the LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation System, which can treat dry eyes in as little as one visit, depending on the condition. It's like a spa treatment for eyes.

Another area of distinction for InVision Eye Health is specialized contact lens fitting. During optometry training, Dr. White did a special fellowship in corneal disease to help patients with this problem. His clinic has the latest contact lens technology to help those with eye conditions or who have struggled to wear lenses in the past find just the right fit. InVision also offers OrthoKeratology, which are overnight corneal molding lenses that allow patients to enjoy corrected vision without glasses or contact lenses during the day. Dr. White is a member of the International Academy of OrthoKeratology.

Dr. White says the vision industry is competitive, so it's been important for his success to find ways to distinguish himself from the competition. So his focus on specialized contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment and a great selection of frames for his customers has separated him from the pack.

Dr. White feels vision is an essential part of our verbal and self-expression, so it's important to take care of your eyes. And his mission with InVision Eye Health, is to do things better and improve patients' overall eye health.
