LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — The Chicago Bears have hired Joe Douglas as director of college scouting and Anthony Kelly as director of pro scouting, joining new general manager Ryan Pace's front office.

Douglas spent more than 15 years with the Baltimore Ravens — the past three-plus seasons as their national scout. He was involved in drafting players such as quarterback Joe Flacco, guard Ben Grubbs, linebacker C.J. Mosley, cornerback Lardarius Webb and guard Marshal Yanda as well as current Bears linebacker Pernell McPhee,

Kelly had been with the Denver Broncos since 2007, spending the past five-plus years as assistant director of pro personnel. He was involved in trades, evaluating free agents and advance scouting.

The Bears also hired Christopher Prescott as an area scout Friday.
