CHICAGO (AP) — Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving was not on the court to start the second half of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Chicago Bulls, and ESPN reported he is doubtful to return.

Irving, playing on two injured legs, crumbled to the court grimacing in pain after he came down on teammate Tristan Thompson's foot with 9:47 left in the first half. He limped to the sideline and then to the locker room.

Losing Irving is a big blow for Cleveland as it tries to close out this series and avoid a decisive Game 7 at home on Sunday.
