SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Investigators are saying a young boy started a large field fire that broke out in West Valley City.
KUTV reports (http://bit.ly/1Ga5FK0 ) that police have questioned a young boy who they suspect started the early Wednesday morning fire. They have not released the boy's age.
Firefighters responded to the fire but had trouble accessing the field where it was burning. It took crews more than an hour to extinguish the fire.
West Valley City Police Police Lt. Dalan Taylor says it was the second fire in the area this month.
Arson investigators are now handling the case.
