SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies will not run the Miller Motorsports Park after October. The company announced that it will not renew its lease of the property with Tooele County and no longer operate the facilities after Oct. 31.
The park was built by the LHM Group, opened in 2006 and was named the "Motorsports Facility of the Year" at the Motorsport World Expo that year. The facilities will be taken over by Tooele County.
"With this pending land-lease agreement and the examination of the future prospects, our continuation of the facility is not sustainable," spokesman Frank Zang said.
The current schedule of events will go on as planned.
