Reno, Nev. (AP) — Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that started in a hotel room at the Ponderosa Hotel in Reno's Midtown district.
KRNV-TV Reno reports (http://bit.ly/1IOn0sF) that Battalion Chief Tim O'Brien says firefighters were able to act quickly during the Tuesday night blaze and keep damage to a minimum.
The fire was contained to one hotel room. About 20 people had to be evacuated but were later allowed to return to their rooms.
No one was injured.
Fire crews responded to a call reporting the fire just after 8:00 p.m.
As of late Tuesday night, the cause of the fire was still unknown.
