OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Memphis will have to overcome newly crowned MVP Stephen (STEHF'-ehn) Curry and Golden State's 42-2 home court record in Game 2 of the NBA Western Conference semifinals tonight. Curry paced the Warriors to a win in the opener on Sunday. He'll be honored in a pre-game ceremony after being named MVP yesterday.

ATLANTA (AP) — NBA Eastern Conference top-seed Atlanta finds itself in a hole heading into Game 2 of its semifinal series against Washington tonight. The Wizards won the opener by holding the Hawks to just 25 percent shooting and 35 points in the second half.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The Cardinals head into tonight's home game against the Cubs riding a seven-game winning streak that has them off to their best start to a season in over a century. The NL Central leaders are 18-8 for the best 26-game start to a season since 1900.

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Calgary is hoping for a big boost from the home fans when they host Anaheim in Game 3 of their NHL Western Conference semifinal series tonight. The Flames dropped the opening two games in Anaheim and were outscored by 9-1.

DECATUR, Ala. (AP) — Alabama prosecutors are dismissing resisting arrest and disorderly conduct charges against NFL linebacker Rolando McClain stemming from his arrest in a park in his hometown in 2013. Court records show prosecutors asked a judge Monday to end the case against the 25-year-old Dallas Cowboys linebacker. No reason is given in court documents.
