EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The Giants continued to fortify their offensive line depth Saturday with seventh-round pick Bobby Hart, an offensive tackle out of Florida State.
The Giants project the 6-foot-6, 329-pound Hart as a guard because of his length and strength, but he made his name at FSU at right tackle. He was named third team All-ACC as a senior.
He could struggle outside in pass protection, but not if he makes the move inside. His power and big-game experience as a starter on a national champion are strengths at No. 226 overall.
The Giants traded their second seventh-round pick (No. 245) along with their fourth-rounder to Tennessee to move up to take safety Landon Collins at the top of the second round.
