OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard will deliver an address when he graduates from Weber State on Friday.
Lillard will graduate with a degree in professional sales from the College of Applied Science & Technology. He will be one of two student speakers at the Dee Events Center at 8 a.m., the school said Thursday.
Lillard is scheduled to walk across the stage and receive his diploma at 10 a.m.
Lillard was a two-time Big Sky MVP while at Weber State before being selected No. 6 overall in the 2012 NBA draft. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year that season. His 1,934 career points while at Weber State rank No. 2 in school history.
