(KSL News) A woman who fell 30 feet while hiking this afternoon was hoisted to safety by a search and rescue team in Utah County.
The 20-year-old woman was hiking Horse Trail Falls with her father in Dry Creek Canyon near Alpine when she slipped on wet rocks. She hit her head and lost consciousness.
Her father called for help on his cell phone and rescue teams brought in a helicopter.
The woman suffered some head trauma and was flown to Intermountain Medical Center, but she is expected to be OK.
