EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State wide receiver Macgarrett Kings has admitted responsibility for public littering, pleading down from two misdemeanors stemming from a Feb. 28 arrest.
Court records show Kings had charges of drunk and disorderly conduct and obstructing or resisting an officer dismissed. Public littering is a civil infraction.
Kings caught 29 passes for 404 yards last season for the Spartans as a junior. He could play a big role this upcoming season with receivers Tony Lippett and Keith Mumphery having used up their eligibility.
Kings was arrested in April 2014 for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.23 percent, nearly triple the legal limit of 0.08 percent. He pleaded guilty and received probation.
