TOOELE VALLEY- Registration is now open for the Rockwell Watches Super Area Qualifier for the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn's Ranch, which will take place at Miller Motorsports Park over the weekend of May 22-24, 2015.

This will be one of the biggest amateur motocross events in America during 2015, attracting riders of all ages from throughout North America who will try to get their ticket to the national-championship event punched. The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL, which will take place at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., between July 26 and August 1, is the world's biggest amateur motocross event. Winning there has helped launch the careers of many top Supercross and Motocross stars, including Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen, Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart, Eli Tomac, Ricky Carmichael, Doug Henry and Jeff Emig.

The Rockwell Watches event is the first at Miller Motorsports Park.

The Rockwell Watches Super Area Qualifier will be a new event at Miller Motorsports Park, which has placed a huge emphasis on motocross in the past few years. The track has hosted the Utah National round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship since 2013, added the Rockwell Watches Amateur Motocross Showdown in 2014 and hosted the inaugural Rockwell Watches Pro-Am earlier this year.

Riders from all over the country compete in the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship qualifier program. Classes are available for competitors from four years old to 50-plus on a range of motorcycles, including 50cc minibikes to highly modified 450cc motocross machines.

The Area Qualifiers serve as the first step in qualifying for the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross championship. The Regional Championships then serve as the next step to seed riders into the National Championship at Loretta Lynn's Ranch. Only riders who finish in a qualifying position at a Regional Championship are eligible to race the National Championship event.
