(KSL News) A high-speed chase near the airport ended with the arrest of a wanted man.

The suspect was first spotted this morning by Salt Lake police, who discovered he was wanted in connection with an aggravated assault on a sheriff's deputy earlier this week.
When the suspect wouldn't stop, the officers gave chase, following the man off road until he drove his car into a canal at 875 N. 5300 West.

He was then taken into custody and now faces multiple charges.
