Gusts could hit 60 mph

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Strong winds are headed toward Utah along with a cold front.

The National Weather Service warns that southerly winds will pick up to 35 mph Tuesday afternoon.

The winds will shift to the northwest behind an evening cold front, when gusts could hit 60 mph.

The weather service is warning of possible property damage and travel hazards.

Rain is expected Wednesday.
