(KSL News) Two children who were not properly restrained in car seats were ejected in a car accident this afternoon.
Police say it happened in West Valley City when their mother who was driving ran a red light and hit a truck.
A 7-month-old landed in the middle of the intersection, and a 5-year-old child was not far away. Both were taken to the hospital with head injuries.
Charges could be filed against the mother who was driving the car.
