NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Thomas Walkup made a career-high 34 points as Stephen F. Austin extended its win streak to 18 with a dominating 95-59 victory over Houston Baptist on Saturday night.

Stephen F. Austin (19-3, 9-0 Southland Conference) is tied with Murray State for the second longest active win streak in the country behind Kentucky, which has won 22 consecutive games going into Saturday's game with Florida. The Lumberjacks have won 31 straight conference games over two seasons to lead the nation in that category.

Walkup hit 13 of 15 from the floor and made 8 of 10 free throw attempts. He also had five assists and three steals. Jacob Parker made 6 of 11 field goals for 16 points.

SFA raced to a 21-10 lead midway in the first half, was ahead 47-27 at the break and led 74-29 with 12:02 left in the game.

No one reached double figures for Houston Baptist (10-10, 5-5).
