Tickets were available for Costco members, but those sold out in four days. Now you can buy tickets for the Real Madrid game, but you have to buy tickets for two more games.
Chris Keeney: "We've paid a sizeable fee to attract a team like ReAL Madrid to come to Salt Lake."
RSL Director of Sales Chris Keeney says their plans are working. Already, they've sold more tickets for this game than they do for a regular RSL match. Keeney says they're very happy with sales so far, even though tickets haven't been largely released to the public yet.
Chris Keeney: "We've crested at 25,000 for the Real Madrid Game, so we're well on our way to a sell out, and it's just a matter of time to when it will actually sell out."
Keeney says when tickets were only available to season ticket holders, 800 people bought season tickets.
