WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — A school district serving rural areas around Williston plans to transition to a K-12 district within four years.
District No. 8 currently has grades kindergarten through eight. The Williston Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1yY9xMb ) that the school board voted earlier this month to expand in the coming years.
The district plans to add the additional grade levels in tiers. It has not yet developed a budget, staffing or curriculum plan.
