WEATHERFORD, Okla. (AP) — The visiting artist program at Southwestern Oklahoma State University will host a series of teaching programs called Saturday Art for the third straight semester on the campus in Weatherford.
Sessions will be held on ceramics on February 7 and 14, tapestry on February 21 and 28, drawings and watercolors on March 7 and acrylics and watercolors on April 18 and 25.
The programs are open to the public, and school groups are welcome. Groups and individuals will learn the basics of the various art forms. Art materials will be provided, and the cost for each session is $3 for SWOSU students and $5 for the general public.
SWOSU art professor E.K. Jeong (YONG) and art major Khanh Nguyen (CON WIN) will facilitate the programs.
