FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — De'Von Barnett scored 18 points and Evan Kelley, Cane Broome and Steve Glowiak each added another 13 points as Sacred Heart held off Fairleigh Dickinson in overtime, 78-77 on Thursday night.

Barnett scored on a layup in overtime and Kelley converted the second of two free throws to give the Pioneers a 78-75 lead with 1:23 left in the extra period. Fairleigh Dickinson's Marques Townes converted a layup, but Darian Anderson's layup at the buzzer missed.

Anderson drilled a 3-pointer with :16 left in regulation to forge a 71-71 tie and force overtime.

Sacred Heart (8-12, 2-5 Northeast) snapped a five-game losing streak with the win.

The Knights (7-11, 2-5), now losers of six straight, built a three-point lead at halftime on Mustafaa Jones' 10 first-half points.

Jones finished with 22 points, converting 7 of 7 from the line, and Anderson had 21. Matt MacDonald added 13 points.
