FRISCO, Texas (AP) — FC Dallas has picked up a pair of midfielders, acquiring Kyle Bekker in a trade with Toronto FC and signing Atiba Harris after securing his rights last month.

Bekker was added Wednesday in exchange for allocation money after two seasons with Toronto. The native of Canada had 29 MLS appearances, including 16 starts. He's also played in 13 games for the Canadian national team.

Toronto drafted Bekker third overall in 2013 after he had 17 goals and 22 assists in 80 games in four seasons at Boston College.

Harris is a nine-year veteran whose rights were picked up during the re-entry draft in December. He has 191 career appearances with six teams, including FC Dallas.
