(KSL News) -- An elderly woman was critically injured on Foothill Drive this evening.
Police say the woman ran across Foothill at about 10th south amid heavy traffic. Two cars were able to avoid the woman, but a third car hit her.
The woman was taken to the hospital with critical head injuries.
Investigators don't know why the woman ran into traffic, but say the driver who hit her was not in the wrong.
