TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH — Miller Motorsports Park is proud to announce that it will host a round of the new MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series on June 26-28, 2015.

The MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series has taken over operation of what was formerly known as the AMA Pro Racing Superbike Championship. The new California-based group, headed by three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey, is committed to growing American professional motorcycle road racing and helping American riders move on to international Grand Prix and World Superbike racing opportunities.

"We are very excited to be a part of the inaugural season of the MotoAmerica Road Racing Series," said Brian Smith, General Manager of Miller Motorsports Park. "Most of the teams and riders are familiar faces to us here, so it will be great to have them back again. The organization looks well positioned to lead North American professional motorcycle road racing into the future, and we look forward to a great partnership."

Motorcycle road racing has been an important part of Miller Motorsports Park since the facility opened in 2006. The track has hosted the former AMA Pro Racing Superbike Championship six times since 2006 and was the North American home of the FIM Superbike World Championship from 2010 through 2012.

"The racers and teams have nothing but good things to say about Miller Motorsports Park and we're happy to have them on our schedule for 2015," said MotoAmerica president and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. "Miller gives us another round in the western half of the country, so it's good for our fans in places like Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and, of course, Utah. I hope those fans make the trip to what is truly a top-notch racetrack in a spectacular part of the country."

Ticket prices for the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series double-header event have not yet been established, but there will be special inaugural-event pricing and tickets will be available soon. For those patrons who have already purchased 2015 season tickets, this event will be a free bonus.
