(KSL News) -- An amazing rescue near McCall, Idaho this weekend, saved four people whose van tumbled into a cold, fast-moving river.
Three passengers managed to scramble out onto the roof but with the river moving so fast they could go no further.
Capt. Brandon Swain McCall, Idaho Fire Dept.: "They were very very cold...their feet were shaking so bad that were rattling the top of the van"
The driver was thrown from the van, and he swam to shore.
A search and rescue team used a kayak and a zip line to shuttle the passengers to safety.
Crews say they had to move fast because there was a good chance the van would float down the river.
Everyone is o.k.
