ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) — Howard County police have arrested a teacher in the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy they say he met online.

Police say 36-year-old Christopher Fox of Randallstown posed as a 16-year-old boy and set up a meeting with the 14-year-old. The 14-year-old told police he was surprised to see Fox was much older when they met July 10 but eventually had sex with him.

The boy called police afterward.

Police say forensic tests only recently linked Fox to the case. No attorney is listed for Fox in online court records.

Fox has been a technology teacher at several Howard County schools since 2003 and was a basketball coach at Glenelg High School in 2006 and 2007.

Police say they're looking into whether there may be other victims.
