(KSL News) Thirty-eight Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS) mothers have filed a petition in a Texas appeals court, trying to get their children returned.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the petition states Texas officials have only shown one group of children are in danger: girls 15 and over. It says all children not belonging to that group should be brought back to the ranch in Eldorado.

The women also argue that women and children could live separately from the men on the grounds of the compound if so desired by the court.
