(KSL News) A man shot by Washington County sheriff's deputies has been released from the hospital and is now facing charges.
Michael D. Loeffel was booked into the Washington County Jail on several charges, including assaulting a police officer.
Loeffel was fired on by officers last week after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at them and threatened to fire as they investigated a domestic violence complaint.
All three officers involved in the incident are now on administrative leave pending an investigation.
