COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets made their second series of roster moves of training camp, trimming eight players who were reassigned, to drop their roster to 42 players.

Six players were assigned Friday to the Springfield Falcons, the Blue Jackets' American Hockey League affiliate: goaltender Anton Forsberg, forwards Lukas Sedlak, Trent Vogelhuber and Riley Wetmore and defensemen Hubert Labrie and Thomas Larkin.

In addition, forward Nick Moutrey (Saginaw/Ontario Hockey League) and defenseman Dillon Heatherington (Swift Current/Western Hockey League) were returned to their junior clubs.
