EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway will have his streak of 90 consecutive starts end on Sunday when Minnesota hosts the Atlanta Falcons.
The Vikings have listed Greenway — who is dealing with a broken rib and broken hand — out for this week's game along with tight end Kyle Rudolph, who had sports hernia surgery on Tuesday. Cornerback Josh Robinson is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
Greenway — who has led Minnesota in tackles each of the past six seasons — has started every game since Week 10 of the 2008 season. His streak of 90 straight starts is the most among active NFL linebackers. Greenway hasn't missed a game since a knee injury caused him to miss his rookie season in 2006.
