TORONTO (AP) — Milan Michalek scored the winning shootout goal in the Ottawa Senators' 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night in a split-squad exhibition game.

Shane Prince, Alex Chiasson and Ryan Dzingel scored in regulation for Ottawa, and Robin Lehner made 24 saves. Nazem Kadri, Jake Gardiner and James van Riemsdyk scored for Toronto.

James Reimer stopped all 18 shots he faced for the Maple Leafs in the first 30:14. Christopher Gibson finished for Toronto, allowing three goals on 17 shots.

The teams also played in Ottawa on Wednesday night, with the Senators winning 3-2.
