FORT KNOX, Ky. (AP) — Fort Knox is planning a ceremony for the opening of its Army Wellness Center.
The center is part of a program supporting medical providers as they address patient lifestyle issues.
The centers offer programs and services to help with lifestyle changes and prevent or help with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke. Fort Knox's Ireland Army Community Hospital says the center approach is holistic and incorporates disciplines such as fitness, nutrition, stress management and wellness.
The Fort Knox Army Wellness Center is marking its grand opening Tuesday afternoon.
