BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise SWAT team has apprehended a fugitive browsing at a yard sale in southwest Idaho.

Police arrested 39-year-old Troy Thomas Wheeler of Meridian on Monday evening on a parole violation.

Spokeswoman Lynn Hightower tells KTVB-TV (http://bit.ly/1pbYfty) that police handcuffed a woman standing next to Wheeler but released her after determining the two were not together.

Hightower says Wheeler was paroled on a drug conviction less than a year ago and is a suspect in a narcotics investigation.

She says a SWAT team made the arrest because Wheeler is known to be heavily armed.

Hightower says other arrests have been made in the narcotics investigation and additional arrests are pending.

Wheeler on Tuesday was being held in the Ada County Jail on the parole violation and an extradition waiver.
