MYRTLE POINT, Ore. (AP) — Authorities are taking extra care to wipe down the weight room, showers and locker rooms at the Myrtle Point Junior-Senior High School where at least two students have contracted a skin infection known as MRSA.
The World at Coos Bay reports (http://bit.ly/1riwcvZ ) two students tested positive last week and three or four more are suspected of having the contagious, drug-resistant infection (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.)
