LAS VEGAS (AP) — The chief revenue officer of Las Vegas Review-Journal parent company Stephens Media has been named the newspaper's new publisher.
The Review-Journal announced Monday that Mark Ficarra would take on publisher duties. That position was previously held by Ed Moss, who will continue with his second role as Stephens Media CEO.
The 63-year-old Ficarra has been chief revenue officer since January.
He previously served as a regional vice president of sales and marketing for the Denver Post and 26 other newspapers for Digital First Media in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.
His resume also includes a top sales position at the San Diego Union-Tribune and publisher roles in Long Beach and Torrance, California.
Stephens Media publishes 11 daily newspapers, including the Review-Journal, as well as 64 weekly newspapers.
