(KSL News) A Salt Lake City teen accused of attempting to sexually abuse two children in his care may be close to reaching a plea deal with prosecutors.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the 16-year-old was close to taking the deal last month, but then refused it on advice from his attorney.
The deal will likely include sex-offender treatment for the boy at a residential facility.
He has already been convicted of forcible sexual abuse and attempted forcible sodomy in connection with hazing incidents at East High.
