(KSL News) Construction crews today broke ground on the renovation project at Valley Fair Mall.
The more than 43,000-square-foot phase will include restaurant and shopping space. It's the first step in turning Valley Fair Mall into a 1-million-square-foot, super-regional shopping and entertainment center.
The mall is part of West Valley City's City Center redevelopment project. When it's finished, the City Center project will include mixed-use development and an intermodal hub.
