OGDEN — A two-story vacant home was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene Saturday morning, officials said.

At 2:38 a.m., fire crews responded to the fire at 2149 Quincy Ave., which is situated in the middle of the block, making access difficult, according to authorities. Firefighters had the blaze under control within about 20 minutes and extinguished the fire after more than an hour.

One firefighter was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries suffered, and was released following treatment, officials said.

Authorities estimated damage to the home at $100,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No residents were displaced as a result of the fire.

Fifteen firefighters helped extinguish the flames. A total of three fire engines, one ambulance, one paramedic rescue, the battalion chief and the fire marshal responded.
