Car crashes into house, juveniles flee

WEST VALLEY CITY — Police are searching for one person after a car crashed into a house in West Valley City.

According to Sgt. Todd Gray with the West Valley City Police Department, an officer tried to pull over three juveniles for a traffic violation around 1 a.m. at 2952 West and Lehi Drive, which is 3325 South.

The juveniles sped away, rounded a corner and lost control of their car, It hit a trailer, then hit a house.

After the crash, three juveniles ran from the scene. Police captured two of them and were looking for the third juvenile.

Tarrance Cooper was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of fleeing.

No one inside the house was injured.

Officers continued to search for the other occupant Friday. Anyone with information can call police at 801-840-4000.
