London (dpa) - Professor Stephen Hawking, the British physicist famous for his bestseller A Brief History of Time, is to write a science book for children which explains the "wonders of the universe," the BBC reported Tuesday.
Hawking, 64, will write the book with his daughter, Lucy, in what was described as an attempt to explain theoretical physics in an accessible way to youngsters.
It would be a "a bit like Harry Potter," but without the magic.
Lucy, who has an eight-year-old son, said: "It is a story for children, which explains the wonders of the universe."
