RIVERTON — SWAT teams surrounded two homes in Riverton Tuesday morning near Redwood Road and Bangerter Highway — but they were not looking for anybody.

The home has been abandoned because of an overpass that will soon be built in the area. Before the homes are demolished, officials allowed SWAT teams to use the homes for training.

Sharolyn Bleak, one of the former homeowners, watched as the training took place.

"It's kind of a crazy feeling to watch our house, that we built on love, be destroyed by SWAT team members," said Sharolyn Bleak, one of the former homeowners.

Once the SWAT team was done with their training, fire fighters took over and did some training of their own.
