SALINA — A motorcyclist was killed after crashing off I-70.
Utah Highway Patrol reported that Carl D. Potter, 74, of Kanab was driving his motorcycle Sunday evening around 6 p.m. westbound on I-70 about 10 miles out of Salina when he crashed off the road into trees and a hillside. He was killed instantly, UHP said.
An EMT traveling through the area came upon the accident and declared the man dead on scene.
Potter was wearing a helmet, UHP reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
