MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) — Police in Meridian are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck in her neighborhood.
Deputy Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea says 38-year-old Melinda Croghan died of blunt-force trauma to the chest in the collision, which was reported at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The driver remained at the scene. No citations have been issued.
