GRANTSVILLE, Utah (AP) -- A five-year-old girl is recovering this morning after she was hit by an S-U-V over the weekend in Grantsville.
It happened on Saturday in the 300 South block of Park Street.
Police say the girl was riding an electric scooter when she drove across Park Street -- running right in front of an S-U-V.
The girl was airlifted to the hospital. Police say she suffered head injuries, but was conscious and alert.
